One of the cheap ways to make extra income is to leverage those naturally occurring gifts, skills or talents that you have, hone and monetize them. The extra income might even come in USD, easing your cost of living in Nigeria. Remember, the path to financial prosperity need not be paved with tech jargon. Sometimes, it’s about leveraging what’s already within your reach.
Get a Second Job
Having more than one stream of income is a must to survive these hard times. You should consider getting a second job. If you have a white-collar job, your second job shouldn’t be a white-collar job, same applies to artisans, this is in a bid to avoid a clash of interests.
I am sure you have a skill you can leverage to get a second job, If not, please get one. You can also sign up on various apps/platforms that would allow you to showcase your skills and pair you with those who can pay for your skills.
Real Estate
You can help sell properties in your area for a commission or better still you can buy and re-sell lands, houses, and other fixed assets are sure ways to transcend from being broke to becoming wealthy.
Training and Retraining
Lastly, leveraging your expertise to train others for a fee is a great way to earn as well. If you are good at something, find those who aren’t good at it and help them become good at it. Once people begin to see positive results, they will begin to come in droves and what’s more?
