Aimed at raising awareness about the importance of sleep, the day typically features events and activities that encourage people to prioritize their sleep and adopt healthy sleep habits.

Sensory Deprivation Tanks
One of the strangest places people have been known to sleep is in a sensory deprivation tank. These tanks are filled with a salt solution that is so dense, you float on top of it.

Treehouse in the Rainforest
Sleeping in a treehouse in the rainforest is a once-in-a-lifetime experience! There are a few places in the world where you can do this, like Costa Rica, Thailand, and Australia.
