Moana 2 (Nov. 27)

The Piano Lesson (Nov. 22)

“The Piano Lesson” is a film adaptation of August Wilson’s acclaimed play, set in 1936 Pittsburgh amidst the Great Depression’s aftermath. Directed by Malcolm Washington and co-written with Virgil Williams, the story unfolds in the Doaker Charles household, where the Charles family navigates their complex past. At the center is a cherished family heirloom: an antique piano adorned with carvings by an enslaved ancestor.

Starring John David Washington, Samuel L. Jackson, Ray Fisher, Danielle Deadwyler, and more, this powerful drama explores the family’s struggles, legacy, and identity.

Gladiator 2 (Nov. 22)

Gladiator 2 follows Lucius, grandson of Marcus Aurelius, as he’s forced into slavery and becomes a gladiator after Roman soldiers invade his Numidian home.

Inspired by Maximus’ legend, Lucius fights for freedom and revenge against the corrupt Roman Empire, facing ruthless General Marcus Acacius and co-emperors Caracalla and Geta. 

With mentorship from cunning ex-slave Macrinus, Lucius battles his way through the arena, driven by his quest for justice.

Red One (Nov. 15)

Red One, an action-packed Christmas comedy, stars Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson as Callum Drift, an elite operative whose mission to retrieve a powerful artifact inadvertently threatens the holiday season. 

With Christmas spirits dwindling, Callum teams up with a witty, modern-day Santa Claus (Chris Evans) to save the holiday. This unlikely duo embarks on a thrilling adventure, battling Christmas-themed villains and rediscovering the true meaning of Christmas. 

Directed by Jake Kasdan and coming on November 15, Red One promises an electrifying mix of humor, heart, and high-stakes action.

Wicked Part 1 (Nov. 22)

Wicked Part 1, directed by Jon M. Chu, brings Gregory Maguire’s novel to life. The musical fantasy film explores the complex friendship between Elphaba (Emily Blunt), a brilliant and misunderstood witch, and Galinda (Ariana Grande), the beautiful and popular witch who becomes Glinda the Good Witch. 

As they navigate magical training at Shiz University, Elphaba uncovers the dark truth about Oz’s ruler, the Wizard. On the other hand, romantic entanglements with Fiyero (Corey Hawkins) complicate their relationships. This enchanting tale of self-discovery, friendship, and empowerment reimagines the Land of Oz, challenging traditional notions of good and evil.

  7. Today, I went to the beachfront with my kids. I found a sea shell
    and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said “You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.” She
    put the shell to her ear and screamed. There was a hermit crab inside and it pinched her ear.
    She never wants to go back! LoL I know this is completely off
